Milus was founded in 1919 in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland, by Paul William Junod. Known for its elegant dress watches and mechanical innovation, Milus gained popularity in the mid-20th century for models like the Snow Star, Archimedes, and Tarzan. The Snow Star, in particular, was famously included in U.S. Navy survival kits during World War II, intended as a barter item. The brand emphasized refined aesthetics, slim cases, and practical complications. After a period of dormancy, Milus was revived in the 2010s with a focus on reissuing heritage-inspired timepieces. Today, it remains an independent brand committed to Swiss craftsmanship and vintage design cues.
